Costs and Details 

Tour Cost:  (Expected per person)

Single occupancy:  One night--$160; two nights--$230 expected cost
Double occupancy: One night--$125; two nights--$160 expected cost.  We require a minimum deposit of $50 with full payment made after all arrangements are in place and minimum partipation level is ensured.

Costs include

• Transportation to Samana lodging
• 1 or 2 nights hotel with breakfast 
• Whale Watching Tour with lunch 

Costs do not include:

• Meals not included with lodging
• Transportation to your site
• Other excursions you may choose 
• Incidentals

Tour Guide(s)

• Your tour is hosted by current volunteer, Gabrielle Bashist, working on the fishing projects in the region and/or by another knowledgeable PCV.  You can expect them to help you choose or prepare for the day's activities, find a nice restaurant and generally troubleshoot for you.     --Caribe Tours to and from Santo Domingo; and private taxi van to and from Las Galeras (see exception for Pre Celebration participants choosing a Monday return).
